Venus arrives in Capricorn, a place where the planet of money and resource, relationship and connection, naturally seeks stability. It’s a four week period to make commitments to others, to define our relationships, and to invest in our futures.
Venus is a particular planet to watch. Why? Because it rules the South Node of the Moon and, thus, the October 14 solar eclipse in Libra. It’s a technical point, but it means that, like the recent new moon on January 12, we’re in a period where eclipse energy wants to manifest. Events in our lives want to take shape and take form.
That said, Venus is still Venus. And in Capricorn we need to take a sharper look at our relationships and social connection. Responsibility is important to use. People matter. We need the support of others. We need to have our finances in order. We need to know exactly what’s of value and worth to us.
