Happy New Year! We’re working with a Taurus Moon, one that picks up on Capricorn’s need for stability and security. Use the day to get practical, organized, and focused on material goals for the coming year. Know the power of your value and worth, too.
Taurus is what’s called a Venus ruled sign. And Taurus is a sign that we’ve been seeing a lot of emphasis over the past few years, which is to say that money and income, material stability and security have been major themes, especially in 2022. That’s because Uranus is in Taurus and we’ve been having eclipses in Taurus, too.
In short, the things that were rock solid and seemingly unchanging in 2020 may not be the case now in 2023.
But the silver lining in this instability is the need to reevaluate and recalibrate, ultimately making things stronger.
Keep that in mind as Venus arrives in Aquarius today, picking up on these themes in the second week of January.
That said, if Venus is what we value and invest time and money in, then its arrival in Aquarius turns our attention to friends and community, social issues and humanitarian themes. Venus in Aquarius can be a bit justice minded, seeing the importance of equity in the larger systems that run our lives.
