It’s a new astrological season as the Sun arrives in Aquarius. We’re beginning to reach the end of the zodiac. As the 11th and penultimate sign, future-oriented Aquarius turns our attention to the bigger picture.
Aquarius is the last air sign. It takes the information and ideas of Gemini, the first air sign, and forges it into something solid. Ruled by Saturn, Aquarius is the counter to Saturn-ruled Capricorn, two halves of the same coin. If Capricorn is the physical structures of life, then Aquarius is the non-physical structures. It’s society and humanity. It’s the social issues and social causes. It’s the very fabric that connects us all.
Our time in Aquarius will mark the midpoint between the eclipses, a reminder that we’re in a time when we have to pivot and open up to new futures, something that we’ll see after the Aquarius New Moon on February 1. Aquarius Season will also capitalize on the work we did in 2021 to step further into a new life. We can’t hold onto a past that no longer supports us or keeps us small.
Have courage.
