The Moon takes us into Virgo and it’s a day to tidy up and return to old projects. With Mercury Retrograde, we also need to find different perspectives and revise our opinions. Make sure work is aligned with a greater sense of purpose, meaning, and service.
As you may recall, Mercury’s currently winding its way back through Capricorn. This is a Mercury that has serious choices to make and wants to take its time to reflect and weigh its options. While we can’t put our lives on hold during Mercury Retrograde, we need to rise up to Capricorn’s high bar of integrity, having a strong understanding of right and wrong.
Mercury also makes another square to Chiron today, which may be picking at old emotions and even older pain points. While it may not be a day to take action, it is a day for us to remember our courage and bravery to do the hard thing. (Mercury turns direct on January 18.)
Then again, emotions may still be running a little high in the wake of the Cancer Full Moon on January 7. (You can read my Cancer Full Moon report to learn more.)
