Mercury arrives in Aquarius, the first of the personal planets to meet up with Pluto in Aquarius. Mercury takes us into Pluto’s forge to reshape and transform how we think and communicate. Look for clues that hint at what the Pluto in Aquarius era will be about.
When Pluto initially arrived in Aquarius from March to June 2023, Mercury, Venus, and Mars were already past Pluto. Which is to say, we haven’t really had a personal taste of Pluto in Aquarius.
Mercury is how we speak, listen, learn, and analyze. Venus is what we love and value, how we socialize, and what we invest in. Mars is what inspires and motivates us, how we take action and move forward.
With Mercury conjunct Pluto today, however fleeting, we begin to incorporate a new era into our everyday lives. After all, Pluto will be in Aquarius for 20 years, from 2024 until 2043.
Aquarius is a sign that brings us to life’s broader strokes. It’s our hopes and dreams for the future. It’s also social issues and causes, humanitarian themes, and the societies that we are a part of. Pluto changes everything. That’s its job. (All we have to do is look to Pluto in Capricorn from 2008 to 2024.) Now the changes will be on a global systems level.
In the meantime, we need to bring this energy into the everyday. Again, look for clues. Be present in how you are thinking and communicating today. What are the messages that you are receiving?
Come next week, when Mars arrives in Aquarius on February 13 and meets up with Pluto on February 14, we see this energy take action in a way that propels us forward into the next 20 years.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for February 6, 2024.
