After nearly three months retrograde, Jupiter turns direct at 11 Gemini, a pivot point that directly connects to the North Node newly in Pisces. Do we have faith? Can we open up to a higher level of ourselves? With a square to Saturn, time to put ideas into reality.
Every planet in the astrology pantheon plays a function and role. The Sun and Moon are the luminaries, the lights of the sky weave our reality. Mercury, Venus, and Mars shape our personal interactions and experiences. Saturn marks the seasons, chapters, and lessons of our lives. As for Jupiter, it is the planet whose role is to make our world bigger.
Imagine a life where there is no curiosity, where we don’t learn, where we don’t look beyond ourselves, and desire more from our lives. Do we grow? Likely not. Certainly it would make for a very small life.
As the ruling planet of Sagittarius, Jupiter inspires us to look towards the world, to travel, to seek, to find answers, whether those answers are in a university or a church or distant land. It opens us up to the light of the stars as Sagittarius is a fire sign and a sign that aligns with the Milky Way.
As the ruling planet of Pisces, Jupiter inspires us to look within, to find meaning and purpose, to fill ourselves with substance. The river of stars are not only found in the sky, but as a river that leads us back to our soul.
So, today, as Jupiter pivots direction in Gemini, a sign it has been visiting since May 25, 2024, it activates an ongoing square to Saturn in Pisces. Yes, the sign that Jupiter rules, creating a dialogue between Pisces and Gemini. If we have a dream, we need to make concrete choices and commitments. We need to not only weigh our options, but have a deeper understanding of what our choices are building. If we believe in something, it needs to be present in our day-to-day lives.
