We start the week in the balsamic moon, the waning days of an Aquarius lunar month that began back on February 1. It’s time to wrap things up, figure out what we learned, and prepare for the Pisces New Moon.

If Aquarius is all analysis, intellect, and the mind, then the coming four weeks will center on the intuition, feeling, and heart. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces takes us out of the world as we know it and brings us to the liminal space between worlds.

A couple of things to note this week beyond the March 2 Pisces New Moon. First, both Venus and Mars meet up with Pluto in Capricorn on March 3, a dynamic alignment that speaks to power and money, diplomacy and negotiation. With Mars strong in the sky, something needs to be forged, transformed, or reformed in our lives. (Mars will arrive in Aquarius on March 6.)

But what about Venus? It’s been in Capricorn since November 5, 2021 and was retrograde from December 19 until January 29, 2022. This conjunction is a coda on a long process of reevaluation as well as an answer to a few simple questions — What’s the true cost? Is it worth it? Am I worth it?

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for March 1.
