The Moon’s in Capricorn as we start the week, a Moon that has us looking towards the future. Community and social connection is in the spotlight. So is accountability, leadership, and maturity. With Mercury conjunct Saturn in Pisces, we are weighing serious options.
If you recall, Mars is now direct. The planet of action and forward movement has been retracing its steps since December 6. While life hasn’t been on hold since then, maybe it hasn’t been exactly moving the way we have wanted it to. Instead, we’ve had to work on how we use our Mars, which is to say, how we take action, how we move forward.
Mars Direct is also a release of energy. As a result, we may feel revved up and looking for outlets for this energy. The Capricorn Moon and a trine from Saturn helps to give Mars focus and harness it towards projects, community endeavors, and anything that needs more responsibility.
Make plans, sketch things out. Saturn helps to make things real. But note that we’re in the dark of the moon in advance of the February 27 Pisces New Moon. It may be better to strategize now and take action after the new moon.
The Pisces New Moon officially brings us into Eclipse Season. We’re just a little over two weeks away from our first eclipse, a lunar eclipse at 23 Virgo on March 14. Eclipse Season, which occurs every six months, means that we’re at an inflection point. March may likely be filled with personal milestones and notable events.
To get you ready for this latest Eclipse Season, I’m doing a two-hour live presentation, The Eclipses of March 2025, on March 5 at 8pm ET. Recorded for replay. In it I’ll be discussing why eclipses are some of the most important astrology to pay attention to and what it means for each of the signs. Learn more and register.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for February 25, 2025.
