We’re on the eve of a solar eclipse. There’s a charge in the air. The great stage readies for its next act. Today’s square between the Sun and Uranus in Taurus is a lay up for a solar eclipse that opens the doors to a six-month period of reinventions and shake-ups.
February is a crucial month for the astrology of 2026 and will likely be a time where we are either navigating personal milestones or we are seeing a new story come in. Just a few days ago, on February 13, Saturn arrived in Aries, marking a shift in our long-term priorities. The Aries part of our astrology will now need renewed action, focus, and major attention. Then there’s tomorrow’s solar eclipse. Any month that has an eclipse in it is a month where there will be a few twists and turns. For example, in 2025, we had eclipses in March and September.
Eclipses open a six-month chapter, one where the sign of the eclipse and the planets in aspect create a framework for our lives to unfold within. Tomorrow’s eclipse at 28 Aquarius will mean that Aquarius and its focus on friends and community, social issues and causes, will be an important theme into August.
One of the features of tomorrow’s eclipse will be a square between the Aquarius Sun and Uranus in Taurus, a planet that demands awakenings and breakthroughs. The next six months will be an important time for all of us to make much needed changes and break free from the past. It also means that life may look a little different in six months than it does now.
