A Moon in Leo takes us out of a year that was like no other. Perhaps we’re in a celebratory mood since a Leo Moon loves a party, but we’re also, courtesy of Capricorn Season, thinking about goals and resolutions.
Yes, goodbye 2020. It truly was a wrecking ball year like I predicted thanks to a historic alignment of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Jupiter and Mars joined the fray and everything seemed to crumble down. Then again, maybe it needed to.
But there have been silver linings. I know because many of you are my clients and you’ve seen the unexpected benefits that have come alongside difficulty. Perhaps these benefits have been tangible. Likely they have been intangible — a greater self awareness and reliance, a deeper connection with a loved one, a total reorientation of priorities.
My feeling about 2021 is that it’s the year that a lot of the new beginnings that have come in now need to take shape and take root. Saturn and Uranus will be square next year, so there will be a friction between the old and the new.
That said, it’s a day to eulogize the year and look towards the future.
I thank you for being a part of my 2020. You helped Empowering Astrology grow immensely this year.
