An Aries Moon takes us into the weekend, one that pushes us to get organized, focus on projects, and tend to our physical health. With Mars Retrograde, we’re still weighing our options, especially with Mercury now retrograde. It’s a day to be deliberate.
By tomorrow, the Moon’s in Taurus, which brings us into the New Year. With both the North Node and Uranus in Taurus, there may be a few unexpected twists and turns during the holiday. Remember, it’s only been a couple of months since we had eclipses in Taurus and Scorpio. Each time the Moon reaches a degree of an eclipse, it can activate the energy.
And what is Taurus? The sign of stability and security, money and resource, pleasure and fertility. Taurus makes up one quarter of the fixed cross, which governs over our material lives. For some, we’ve got money on our minds as we go into the New Year. For others, it’s a holiday to indulge, be extra, seek pleasure, and to enjoy good food and simple luxuries.
I spoke about the astrology of New Year’s Eve in a recent interview with Dallisa Hocking of Spirit & Spark. You can watch the video on her YouTube channel.
