Mercury retrogrades back to the Sun, a conjunction that marks the halfway point of our latest retrograde season. Look for clarity and insights and Mercury passes into the heart of the Sun. It’s a time to reevaluate our choices and decisions.
Come tomorrow, December 23, Mercury returns Sagittarius, where it will remain for the next three weeks. Mercury will retrace its steps to degrees and dates from late November and early December, which means we may see a revisit of that time to help us gain a new perspective.
In Capricorn, Mercury makes decisions based on rationale and logic. It cultivates wisdom from hard work and dedication. In Sagittarius, Mercury draws wisdom from exploration and education as well as faith. This Mercury Retrograde may be a review of how we use these two different Mercurys.
Mercury will turn direct on January 1 at 22 Sagittarius.
