The Moon arrives in Taurus and we get a little more grounded after yesterday’s hot combination of Sagittarius and an Aries Moon. It’s a day to focus on our earthly lives, reaching for food, comfort, stability.
Venus, the ruler of Taurus and Libra, will turn retrograde later this week at 26 degrees Capricorn. Unlike Mercury, which turns retrograde a few times a year, Venus only turns retrograde every 18 months. Venus was last retrograde in Gemini from May 13 to June 25, 2020.
While Venus is retrograde, we have to take a second look at how we connect, interact, and partner with others. Old lovers may resurface. A sticky theme between you and someone else may come up. If something does, it’s indicative of a deeper work to create balance and equity in our lives. And with the Venus conjunct Pluto, we may have to see something in ourselves that reveals a darker side to how we do relationships.
Venus also speaks to money, resources, and value. A common thought we may have over the coming weeks is, “Is it worth it?” Since we’re viewing this retrograde through the lens of Capricorn, it better be worth it.
