Venus opposes Mars. Conversations may reveal and transform. There may be a push and pull over ideas and points of view. We may need to evolve how we think, too. As planets that also speak about relationship, there are tensions to navigate with a partner.

The Moon is doing most of the talking this week after a past few weeks packed with a few intense aspects. Perhaps this is the cosmos’s way of helping us to catch our breath and integrate. Mercury is still retrograde, at least until December 15.

But there’s still some intensity in the sky. Venus, newly in Aquarius, alongside Pluto, makes a powerful opposition to Mars in Leo. And opposition isn’t two planets necessarily at odds. Instead, it’s two planets that are bringing something to our conscious mind. Venus in Aquarius wants freedom. Mars in Leo wants passion and physical connection. Pluto wants reformation. How do we find the compromise?

We’re in the run up to the Gemini Full Moon on December 15, the same day that Mercury turns direct. If there is tension between you and another person, it may be better to wait until Sunday’s full moon to clear the air.
