Mercury steps into Libra and it’s a new note for Virgo Season. In Virgo, Mercury was exacting, focused on work and organization. Now in Libra, we follow Mercury’s cues to connect, find beauty, and create harmony.
See, Mercury is the ruler of Virgo, and its move to Libra means that we’re in a different flavor of the sign. And with Venus also in Libra, we’re feeling this flirtatious, playful, and money-minded energy even more.
Libra teaches us that life needs relationship, connection, and support. We can’t go it alone. When we try to always do things solo, with the mentality that we don’t need anyone, life becomes very out of balance.
Many years ago, while putting together Ikea furniture, the instructions warned me in awkward but humorous English that it was “advisory to be two people” when putting it together. Despite this, I struggled through the installation solo, stubbornly committed to doing it alone. So, with Mercury in Libra, it’s “advisory to be two people.”
That said, the Moon’s in Gemini as well. We’ve got lots to say. We’re reaching out to friends and community. We’re also focused on our duties and responsibilities.
