Uranus turns retrograde at 18 Taurus, a major check in with a story of reinvention that’s been weaving its way through our lives since May 2018, March 2019. Uranus just wants us to be true to who we are. And sometimes Uranus shakes up what’s blocking the way.
If you’re a fixed sign, which is to say a Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius, it’s quite possible that a key area of your life doesn’t look the same as it did three, four years ago. Maybe even you don’t look the same as you did four years ago. (Read more about Uranus in Taurus: Earthquake.)
The beauty — and sometimes the anxiety — of Uranus is that it opens up opportunities. But it may mean having to make a hard pivot, a leap of faith, or even believing that something unobtainable is a possibility.
When I see that a client is going through a major Uranus transit, I sometimes ask, “What’s the most radical thing you can do right now?” Sometimes people just need permission to say something out loud that otherwise feels forbidden. Uranus tries to free us from limitation, including our own limitations … and sometimes by any means possible.
