Another Gemini Moon day. With Mercury still getting support from Jupiter in Taurus, it’s a day to explore, travel, and discover new horizons. Then again, with Mercury in Virgo, there’s a seriousness in the air that pushes us to reflect and reevaluate.
The mutable signs — Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces — help us to understand our world. We can keep that world small, whether by geography or by education, or we can expand it. The Mercury ruled signs of Gemini and Virgo help us to take in information and ideas, to analyze and begin to understand. It’s the Jupiter ruled signs of Sagittarius and Pisces that help give us vision and a desire to seek knowledge.
Maybe some things are shaking up, what with Venus square Uranus and next week’s powerful Leo New Moon on August 16. If the mutable signs help us to build knowledge, Uranus opens us up to the energy of consciousness, that bolt of awareness that can change our lives.
