The Leo Sun squares the Lunar Nodes, an interstice where time bends. We feel the energies of the eclipses. Something may come in and out of our lives. We turn a corner. Time threads its way backwards and forwards. We get a preview of future eclipses.
The Sun’s aspects to the Lunar Nodes, whether through the eclipses or the midpoint of the eclipses, mark some of the major transition points for the year. As an astrologer, when I look ahead to the coming year, I always focus on these transition points because they are potent moments in an ongoing story arc.
Astrology is the energy of time. How we live it, how it unfolds through us and around us, how we color it with our thoughts, choices, and actions. Eclipses mark the time like a clock striking an hour. In this case, today’s connection to the Lunar Nodes, we look back to November 2021, April and May 2022, and we look forward to October and November 2022.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 11.

Hi Katie.
I was wondering if it is possible to post the daily astrology notes earlier? By the time they show up, it’s usually the next day already, whether I go in through the website or through the emails ( which usually article early morning.)
So for example — it shows yesterday’s daily astrology (Wed. August 10) right now and will for that of today and tonight. But I would like to know more about how to interact with the elements going on today — August 11the — today! This has been going in for several months for me. Don’t know if anyone else is having this problem.
Any chance to send the day’s daily astrology notes on the day they can be most useful?
Love your weekly videos!
Hi Chanda, thank you for asking! I am in New York and often there are times when the content is ready for US time when it’s obviously much later in AUS or even Europe. If the content I write is for August 10, then it’s for August 11 AUS/NZ. There’s a note at the bottom of the text to apply it to the next day. The earliest you could receive it, if I post it earlier and you’re in AUS/NZ (not sure …), is 14-16 hours ahead of me. So most of the day is already going to be past if you’re that far ahead of New York.
