Mars meets up with Uranus and the North Node for a rare conjunction in Taurus. If the North Node is true north, then this is a day that may thrust us towards our future or a new direction. Uranus provides a jolt of revelation or new perspective.

Today’s triple conjunction means different things for different people. It’s one of those times where it’s hard to do one-size-fits-all astrology. But what we can do is get a glimpse of its common themes by looking at its individual parts.

First, let’s look at Uranus. It’s an evolutionary planet, which is to say it’s a planet that’s trying to get us to evolve by any means possible. It doesn’t work like the personal planets. It doesn’t speak to the larger structures of our lives like Jupiter and Saturn. No, it’s function is to awaken us, break us free from anything that confines and restricts us, including ourselves. Uranus demands radical authenticity, even if it means turning everything upside down.

Uranus has been in Taurus since March 2019 after a six month preview from May to November 2018, a sign that Uranus will be in until 2025-2026. That’s a seven year arc of time, one where a specific area of our lives will feel its effects. (Not sure where? Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.) We will likely see a marked transformation. And if we’re not, consider that something may be blocked. If it’s not expressing externally, there’s a demand to transform something internally.

Because Taurus is a fixed sign, the fixed signs have been feeling this transformative effects the most. These are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. This includes people who have major planets and angles in fixed signs.

Then there’s Mars. It’s a personal planet. It drives and motivates the astrology. It can activate and trigger things. It wants action. Merged with Uranus, this drive and force meets up with evolutionary energies of awakening, breakdown, breakthrough, revolution, and reinvention. Something has to change. Finally, we add in the North Node of the Moon. It’s been in Taurus since January 2022. The North Node acts like a compass needle, which reveals our collective and personal evolutionary direction over an 18-month period. It also means that the eclipses are in Taurus and Scorpio — the signs of power and transformation, money and property, life and death — until 2023.

So this is a powerful combination of elements and forces. Like I said, it means different things for different people. Whatever happens has been happening for three-four years, ever since Uranus went into Taurus. Let it point you in the direction that you need to go.

Just for reference, the last time Mars, Uranus, and the North Node were all in Taurus was in 1855.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 2.
