The Moon spans Aquarius and Pisces, logic and intuition. As the last two signs of the zodiac, Aquarius and Pisces helps us to connect to the larger frameworks and emotions that unite humanity. It’s a day to think big and find common ground.

We’re also in a little bit of a lull with the astrology. Devoid of major aspects, it may feel like we’re waiting for things to happen. True, Mercury’s arrival in Aries on April 4 pushed things forward, but we’re in the space between lunar months. So it’s better to rest and prepare instead of push and start something new.

The Aries New Moon on April 11 not only brings us into a new lunar month at the end of this week, it touches on an old story that’s been with us over the last decade. With a square to Pluto in Capricorn, the new moon activates the energies of transformation, tearing down, rebuilding, and restructuring, something we’ve all been doing in a certain part of our lives since 2008.

Although we’ve been working with Pluto in Capricorn for the last 13 years, the new moon is another chapter in a story of massive structural change. And the Aries New Moon reminds that, in order to move forward, sometimes we have to tear something down that’s not working.

More on that later this week.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 8.
