With the recent Aries solar eclipse still very present in our thoughts and experiences, we arrive at the first-quarter moon, a notable checkpoint in the astrology after an eclipse. Mars is our guide the next six months. We’re finding our power, our determination.
Astrology runs on something called “rulership”. It tells us how the energy moves in the sky and who is the boss at receiving and moving this energy. If a solar eclipse is in Aries, as it was last week, Mars is the ruler of the eclipse as Mars rules Aries.
A technical point, but an important point, especially as Mars in Cancer makes a trine to Saturn in Pisces today, bringing an energy of stabilization. It says that whatever new initiatives we are starting have the ability to become real and a long term support.
Then there’s today’s Mars’s sextile to Uranus. While a sextile acts to smooth things out, Mars sextile Uranus can open us up to new perspectives and reinventions in the coming six weeks. Saturn also makes a sextile to Uranus; these reinventions won’t just be a vision, they will have the power to become a part of our lives.
Look to this weekend to put new paths in motion.
