The Moon is in Scorpio and we are in the run up to tomorrow’s full moon at 11 Scorpio, one that will connect us back to the April 17 Aries New Moon. Full moons reveal and with Scorpio, secrets may come to light. Emotions may be running high, too.
Anytime Scorpio as a sign is highlighted, it means that we are digging into the deepest parts of the human experience — power and control, the psyche and the unconscious, intimacy and vulnerability.
As the 8th sign of the zodiac, Scorpio takes us beyond the social pleasantries of Libra and into the emotional heart of life. Through Scorpio, the relationships of Libra discover their depth. Bonds are forged through earned trust. But bonds can also be broken through betrayal and loss.
Scorpio is also a space where we are forced to grow. Meaning, if our lives are never tested, if we never take time to look within, then we will never grow. This doesn’t have to be dramatic. Whenever we step outside of our comfort zone and ask the hard questions, even of ourselves, we are symbolically connecting to the energies of Scorpio.
Since the April 17 new moon touched on the energies of Chiron in Aries, this full moon may bring a healing and a release of an old pain point. But, first, we may need to see past our blind spots and discover what has been hidden.
