The Moon crosses between Virgo and Libra, between a sign that puts us in touch with the duties of daily life and a sign that seeks connection and company. We go from the influence of Mercury to Venus. With Venus in Gemini, there’s a restless movement to the day.
We may not think that Gemini and Taurus have a lot in common, two signs that sit side by side. Taurus is fixed earth, which is to say it’s a sign that keeps things in place through stability and reliability. Gemini, on the other hand, needs movement and flow. But, in fact, Gemini is Taurus’s second sign and Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac.
Perhaps this makes for mental gymnastics, but it’s important to remember what Taurus can teach us about sharing and about life in all its shapes and colors. Venus in Gemini is setting a lot of the pace and tone for the rest of Taurus Season. And Venus will be in Gemini for the Taurus New Moon on May 16 at 25 degrees.
Not to get too far ahead of things, but we have a Scorpio Full Moon this week, on May 1. The coming days may have an emotional intensity to them. Conversations may go deep. A Scorpio Full Moon will touch on themes of vulnerability and trust, power and control, the psyche and the soul — showing us what needs to be revealed so that we can make a transformation.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 29, 2026.
