We start the week with a Moon in Virgo, one that plays upon the earthly sensibilities of Taurus Season. It’s a day to tend to our material lives, particularly the duties and responsibilities that come with them. Mercury in Aries favors clearing space for new beginnings.
Mercury is nearing the end of its time in Aries this week, arriving in Taurus on May 2. In the meantime the usual quickness of Mercury Aries is tempered by its time in Taurus’s 12 House. As a result, while the Moon is in Virgo, until tomorrow, we may be in a reflective mood, surveying over what needs to be released.
Speaking of releasing, we have a powerful Scorpio Full Moon this week, on May 1 at 11 degrees. Scorpio is a sign that plays counter to Taurus, the endings and transformation that makes way for the rebirth of life in Taurus. Emotions may run high this week. What is hidden may be revealed, even if we are hiding it from ourselves.
Lastly, as you may remember, Uranus is now in Gemini, a notable shift for the astrology this year and a notable shift for a key area of our lives, depending on where Gemini falls in our personal astrology.
