It’s Taurus Season! The Sun changes signs and we’re focusing on themes around money and material matters, pleasure and sensuality. With a solar eclipse in two weeks, these themes take on a powerful role.
Yes, we’re coming up on a solar eclipse at 10 Taurus on April 30, the first in a duo of eclipses in Taurus-Scorpio. If you recall, the Lunar Nodes changed signs, which means that we’re in a new personal and collective story, one that we got a preview of with a Taurus Full Moon lunar eclipse on November 19, 2021.
That said, as much as last year started to move things around, getting us ready for the greater eclipse themes around safety and trust, stability and security, value and worth, we’ve been working through these themes ever since Uranus arrived in Taurus back in May 2018, March 2019. This year galvanizes a story of change and transformation that has already been playing out over the past few years.
In the meantime, make space for pleasure. Ruled by Venus, Taurus invites us to get in touch with our bodies. It puts us in touch with the energies of fertility and rebirth and, in its highest expression, the feeling of satisfaction that comes with having all our needs taken care of. It’s food and sweetness as well as creature comforts.
Presently, Venus is in Pisces, which adds an ethereal layer to our experiences to this Taurus Season, at least until Venus arrives in Aries on May 2. As much as we’re attuned to the sensuality of life right now, Pisces loves the romance of life as well.
