Mercury returns to Aries, the sign it started its retrograde in last month. It’s a revisit of themes and decisions from March. Something on the back burner moves to the front. A dream becomes reality, an intuition becomes an action. Be open to new perspectives.

Since Mercury also rules the March 14 lunar eclipse at 23 Virgo, we may also see something of that eclipse come to life. Virgo is a sign that inspires us to put things in order, to become a better version of ourselves, to be of service to others. We don’t always see the eclipse right away. Sometimes it takes a planet like Mercury going to Aries to make a positive resolution for our lives.

Now that Mercury is in Aries, it will also meet up with Neptune in Aries. As you may remember, Neptune arrived in Aries on March 30 for the first time in 150 years. FYI, this is Mercury and Neptune’s first conjunction in Aries since May 1874. (Neptune’s change of signs this year is part of a larger shift of planets that began with Pluto into Aquarius in 2023-2024 and will include Saturn in Aries this May and Uranus in Gemini this July. 2025 is a shift of eras.)

That said, we’ll start to see the energies of the recent Aries solar eclipse create forward movement, revealing new paths, new options, and new choices. Neptune invites us to connect to our intuition.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 17, 2025.
