Mercury arrives in Capricorn, a grounded influence in advance of tomorrow’s dynamic Gemini Full Moon. As much as we’re feeling restless and impulsive, Capricorn demands maturity and a level head. We’re weighing our options against the future.
Mercury’s actually going to be spending a while in Capricorn, owing to its retrograde at 24 degrees on December 29. During this period, which lasts until February 11, we have to take a measured approach in how we learn, write, speak, analyze, and discern. We have to show responsibility. In Capricorn, the bar is set high.
Here, Mercury has to be the master of choice, to be able to see how our decisions shape our future and impact others.
In the meantime, tomorrow’s full moon is coming in a little hot, what with its conjunction to Mars. Tempers may be a little riled. Communication may be a little testy. Channel this Mars energy into positive action and even physical exercise.
