The Moon leaves Taurus for Gemini and it’s a day for movement and foraging. Taurus loves to gather and collect. Perhaps we have errands to do, things to buy, pleasures to sample. With Mercury in Aries, it’s a day to cast off the past and create space for the new.
A little pro astrology tip. If you want to have a deeper understanding of Taurus, look to its 2nd sign. Meaning, Taurus is the 2nd sign of the zodiac and if we count out two signs from Taurus, we get Gemini. (It’s the same logic for all the zodiac signs. For example, Sagittarius is the 9th sign and Sagittarius’s 9th sign is Leo.)
In the case of Taurus, it means that Gemini can teach us a lot about Taurus — two signs that, on paper, seem like they don’t have a lot in common. Taurus likes to accumulate and collect. It enjoys the variety of life. The pleasure of Taurus is best when it is shared with others.
We may not be a Taurus, but we can share with others and enjoy and sample life’s many flavors and combinations.
In other news, this is Venus’s last day in Pisces, a sign it has been in and out of since January 3, owing to a retrograde March 1 to April 12. Since Venus rules Taurus Season, the energy of the season will point towards Aries tomorrow when Venus changes signs. It’s a shift in the weather, so to speak.
Aries is about new beginnings and action. But Aries is Taurus’s 12th sign. These actions may be happening behind the scenes. Or, we need to take action to let go of the past to prepare for new life.
