I’ve been thinking a lot about this full moon we just had. Falling in the sign of Gemini, a sign that can sometimes come across as superficial, I felt like there was something deeper at play. How could there not be with multiple planets weaving through the lunar tapestry.
Today the Sun reaches the final degree of Virgo, wrapping up its stay in the sign of service, purity, and health. It’s been an interesting season, one marked by two eclipses. It’s safe to say that something has shifted, the terrain before us a little different.
We’re coming up to the end of Mercury Retrograde this week, a time when things may feel as though they’re moving a little more slowly. As the planet of communication and movement, to reflect instead of take action.
Mercury stationed retrograde today. You know the drill. Just be chill, go with the flow, and integrate. Mercury Retrograde is a time when we’re looking back instead of moving forward. We don’t have all the details. Double check everything. It’s going to be fine.

You may have heard that come Thursday, five planets will be retrograde. As disconcerting as this may sound, it’s not uncommon for four planets to be in retrograde and the outer planets spend 4-5 months of the year moving backward. So it’s normal. I think what’s a little unusual about this one is that both Mars and Mercury are retro, two personal planets.

Mercury Retrograde is a time when we have to take a step back, reflect on our karma around our communication, ideas, and movement. The tide can’t always push out; it has to come back in. And with Mars already retrograde, we’re doing extra work on our words and actions.
