Mercury crosses into Cancer, a sign that it will work its way through until August 4. If Mercury is communication, ideas, and learning, then in Cancer Mercury relies on its intuition in instinct. It’s a kind or comforting word. It’s empathy. It learns by feeling.
With last week’s Gemini New Moon, we’re in a new lunar month and a new season, one that highlights communication, ideas, information, connection, and choices. It also means that we’re in eclipse season; a full moon lunar eclipse is just two weeks away.
Mercury moves into Cancer and we enter a new phase of Gemini Season, one that’s driven by heart-to-heart communication and connection. Information alone isn’t enough. It’s about listening and empathy. It’s also a day of new beginnings.
We start the weekend with a Cancer Moon highlighting home, family, and emotional connection. With Mercury also in Cancer, we need to express how we feel. It’s still Gemini Season after all, a sign that needs to talk. Make time for a heart-to-heart with a loved one.
