Welcome to the Cancer New Moon. It’s not only the solstice and the start of a new season, but it’s a solar eclipse, too, a time of supercharged new beginnings. The great stage of our lives rearrange. New characters and set pieces come in. Others leave.
We’re in the dark of the moon as we go into the weekend, a quiet time to retreat, reflect, and shed anything from the past. But we’re also on the doorstep of a Cancer New Moon on June 21, a solar eclipse that will be a powerful portal to the second half of 2020.
As we open up a new chapter courtesy of the June 5 lunar eclipse, we’re beginning to close another that began in July 2018 with this week’s solar eclipse in Cancer on June 21, right on the solstice, the punctuation at the end of a two year sentence.
We start the week off with an Aries Moon, a Moon that usually like’s to take action, move forward, and go after what it wants. But with Mars in Pisces alongside Neptune, we have to be compassionate with our actions and move forward with empathy.
Emotions run high as we prepare for tomorrow’s lunar eclipse Sagittarius Full Moon. Between Mars and Neptune in Pisces and Mercury’s square to Chiron, what we’re feeling is deeper than this moment in time. It is coming up so it can be healed.
