After three years in Pisces, Saturn arrives in Aries, a sign that brings us to the first sign of the zodiac. The endings of Pisces give way to the new beginnings of Aries. The next two years will be about concrete action as well as lessons in power and self reliance.

Note that Saturn was in Aries from May 24, 2025 to September 21, 2025 and again February 13, 2026 to April 13, 2028.
Aries or Aries Rising — The self, growing up, growing older, new beginnings. It’s a time of powerful new beginnings as a 30-year cycle begins. The next two years will be formative, pushing you to take on new roles of responsibility, planting seeds, and putting your stakes in the ground. It will likely be marked by personal milestones and achievements, too. Saturn can be a bit of a heavy influence when it is in our sign and part of your work is to find balance, even when you feel as though all the responsibility is on your shoulders. For some, this will be a real time of self reliance, a time to set boundaries, to get real, and to put life in order. For others, it’s a time of leadership, either to take the lead or to find the courage to put yourself first. There may be health matters to attend to. Saturn can make us feel our age, sometimes wearing us down. To counter this, it’s the perfect time to make healthy, mature choices. Note that Saturn can be a real wake-up call for some.
Taurus or Taurus Rising — Spirituality, retreat, the unconscious, inner search. Saturn brings you to the end of a long journey, one that began many years ago. The next two years will mark a culmination as well as coincide with a period of deep reflection. What is the meaning and purpose of my life? Have I found what I am searching for? Saturn has brought you into what I like to call the 12th Room, the final room in a house of rooms designed to teach you about life. Walking into this room, so to speak, with Saturn as your guide, means that it’s time to prioritize your spiritual life and even to prioritize the soul. It’s a space to let go of anything that no longer serves you … emotional weight, the baggage of the past, addictions, attachments, resentments, anger … to make peace with the things that intellectually we should never be at peace with. It’s also a space to seek out the mystic, to work on the unconscious and personal blindspots, to go inward to find the answers that you will never be able to find outside of yourself. The next two years will also be a time of rest and quiet time, to cultivate your own company, and to build or even rebuild your connection to Source. For some, it may be a time of higher callings and acts of spiritual service.
Gemini or Gemini Rising — Friends, community, networks, social causes. Saturn leads you into the 11th, a domain dedicated to your friendships and social networks. The next two years are about building or even rebuilding your circle; it’s not uncommon for friendships to clear away during this time. Saturn sets a higher bar for connection and wants you to invest in quality over quantity. For some, it may be a time to examine questions of belonging, whether it’s socially belonging or belonging to something greater. For others, it’s a time to prioritize social issues and causes, getting involved in local boards and councils, or running for office. Or, there may be opportunities to make a commitment to a humanitarian endeavor. Overall, Saturn will be teaching you about the power of community. And if that area is lacking, then use this time to make a real effort. Since Saturn will be in Aries, there may be a call for leadership. The real work will be to seek connection over individualism or even isolation.
Cancer or Cancer Rising — Career, direction, public persona, responsibility. The next two years will mark a major shift as Saturn reaches the highest part of your astrology, the 10th, making career and responsibility your priority. Sometimes it is as simple as imagining Saturn asking you, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” For some, the next two years will be a time to invest a significant amount of energy into building or even rebuilding a career. There may be personal milestones and achievements, such as promotions and title changes. For others, it may be time to change course in career, taking on new roles or even stepping into new industries, all to answer the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Sometimes this period can coincide with becoming a parent for the first time … a title change then becomes that of mother or father. Sometimes we reach the end of a career and it’s time to retire. Keep in mind that this will be a time of increased responsibility and sometimes even heavy responsibility. If there has been a lack of structure and accountability up until this point, Saturn may be a reality check. But this is an opportunity to become Saturn, which is to say, become the mentor, become someone that people look up to and respect.
Leo or Leo Rising — Faith, truth, meaning, education, travel. After the emotional heaviness of the past few years, Saturn leads you into your 9th, a space to begin to answer the questions, “What do you believe in? What do you stand for?” The 9th is a space that shapes our view of the world around us. For some, Saturn in this space will be a philosophical or even spiritual examination, one that brings a teaching or framework that builds a worldview. For others, this time will be educational, from going back to school to get a degree to other forms of serious study. There may be notable travel in the next two years, especially foreign or long distance travel that helps to answer, “What do you believe in? What do you stand for?” Some may find that religion comes into their lives or a prioritization around matters of faith. For those who are writers, it may be a time to put a serious effort into publishing a book or treatise. For those who are teachers, it may be a time to share an important teaching. It may also be possible to deal with legal matters during this period.
Virgo or Virgo Rising — The deep self, emotional health, intimacy, finance. If our astrology is like a house with many rooms, Saturn will now bring you into the 8th Room, a space whose function is to get you to face yourself. For the next two years, your priority will be your emotional health and wellness. This may include the start of a serious initiative to heal, let go of the past, and to deal with unresolved emotional matters. Secrets may come to light. But for many, this will simply be a time that will demand emotional maturity, whether through cultivating a deeper intimacy within oneself or learning to find value in vulnerability. For some, this may bring an emotional reckoning, one that demands that you reshape your inner psychic landscape, turning lead into gold. In this space of alchemy, the 8th, we are truly transformed and reforged. Because if everyday was the same, if we never examined ourselves, we would never grow and life is meant to grow. There is the possibility that the next two years will take on major financial themes, which includes prioritizing how you spend your money, dealing with debt and even taxes. Or, it may be a time when you are navigating themes around inheritances and legacies.
Libra or Libra Rising — Relationships, other people, socialization, connection. The next two years will likely be marked by personal milestones and events. Saturn has reached an important part of your astrology, your 7th. A common narrative when Saturn is in the 7th is that we start a major relationship or an existing relationship takes on a new form, whether as a serious partnership or even a marriage. Two people may move in together, for example. Or, in some cases, someone moves out. A relationship may reach its natural conclusion when Saturn is in the 7th. That said, for others, it may be a time when Saturn is simply saying, “You can’t do life alone.” As human beings, we need connection. We can’t always be self reliant. So, partnership can come in many forms during this time. And we may find ourselves taking the initiative from Saturn and investing in meeting new people, working on strengthening relationships through counseling, setting healthy boundaries, and finding new ways to ask for help. Note for those who are Libra Sun, Saturn will be opposing the Sun, a time that may bring increased demands for responsibility or even a demand to deal with a health matter.
Scorpio or Scorpio Rising — Health, diet, wellness, daily living, work. Saturn leads you into your 6th, the operations space of your life. If Saturn is the inspector, what will Saturn find? Are things in order or disorder? Do you need new routines and schedules? The next two years will be a time to structure or even restructure your day to day life, from getting up earlier to bringing more precision to the work that you do. For some, this may be a time when health takes priority. This may be as simple as making positive and lasting changes to diet and exercise, getting doctor checkups, going to the gym, or having a renewed relationship with the body. Saturn in the 6th is like a light on the car dashboard coming on. Perhaps it’s the light that signals a need for routine maintenance. Perhaps it’s the check oil light. Perhaps it’s something more. For a few, an existing condition that has been neglected now demands action. The proverbial car breaks down. But, if all goes well, this will be a time where positive choices and changes lead to lasting benefits. It is possible that this time will be about new long-term projects, ones that require dedication and commitment. Or, a time of service to others and the action to match.
Sagittarius or Sagittarius Rising — Identity, persona, creativity, talent, children. Who are you? With Saturn leading you into your 5th, you enter a two-year period where you will need to invest in answering this simple question. The 5th is the space of the self and the ego. Of course, there is both positive and negative ego. Positive ego is self esteem and having a strong sense of inner reliance and healthy boundaries. Negative ego can be an inflated sense of self, but it is often the false self … the masks we wear, something that allows us to hide, to stay diminished or even safe. This even includes self destructive tendencies. Saturn says, “It’s time to take yourself seriously.” The next two years will be a work. This may be a time of strengthening the positive self through individualization and acts that express your talents, gifts, and abilities. For those who are artists or creators, Saturn can bring a period where there is a maturity of voice and a shift in how you express your creative vision. For those for whom this is relevant, the next two years may bring a pregnancy and the birth of a child or the adoption of a child. If there is work to do on the negative ego, Saturn will make sure that you know that this is your priority.
Capricorn or Capricorn Rising — Home, family, roots, foundation, living situation. Saturn brings you into the 4th, which will coincide with a significant period in your life. Since Saturn is your ruling planet, every time it changes signs, which only happens every 2-3 years, the priorities in your life shift. For you, Aries is your sign of home and family, roots and foundation. You’ve left a seven-year chapter marked by new beginnings and a need to work on or even build yourself. Now it’s time to settle down. Depending on what phase of life you are in, the next two years may mark a significant milestone, such as buying a house, making a major move, getting married or starting a partnership, and starting a family. There may be a desire to put down roots in other ways, even if it means not physically moving. Family will take on new priority, whether that is literal or symbolic. For some, especially if parents are older, your family may need more of your time, energy, and commitment. For others, it’s a time to ask yourself, “Where is home and who is home?” There may be a serious look at the past, memories, and ancestry. There may be a deep need to find connection and to feel a sense of kinship and belonging. For a few, Saturn may be a demand to really accept this life and take it seriously.
Aquarius or Aquarius Rising — Voice, communication, learning, choices. Saturn, your ruling planet, changes signs, and shifts your priorities and focus as it brings you into your 3rd. After the heaviness of Pisces, Aries gives fire to your Aquarius air. The next two years will be a time to get curious, taking time to seriously invest in your education. You may be taking classes and workshops. You may be learning a language or working to perfect how you communicate. For those who are writers, it will be a time to take your craft seriously, from starting a manuscript to working to make ideas concrete. For those who are speakers, the next two years may bring public speaking opportunities. On a deeper level, Saturn is about the work, meaning the work we all have to do in order to rise to a higher level and find renewed maturity. And in the 3rd, Saturn reminds us that life is about the choices we make. Do we have the personal wisdom to make the right choices? While Aries can have an impulsiveness, Saturn slows things down so that you take time to reflect on every word, every thought, and every choice. And the choices you make in the next two years may be significant.
Pisces or Pisces Rising — Money, income, value, material stability. After the heaviness of Saturn in Pisces, Saturn brings its energy to your 2nd, a space that on the surface is about money and income, material resources and the property you own. But it also gets into deeper questions: What do you value? As we get older, our values shift. And the next two years may reflect this shift in a more concrete way. This includes self worth and value and, with Saturn as your guide, taking your value seriously. That said, Saturn in the 2nd is often a time when we become more aware of our material world. For example, if we’ve never made a budget before, now we’re having to make a budget. Or, we’re saving up because we want to buy a piece of real estate. The priority now is material stability and security. So, again, for example, budgeting and saving can create long term material stability and security. Or we’re having to work hard or increase our income to create this security. Or we are investing in our resources and assets. Sometimes Saturn makes us feel lack. The resources we had are no longer there and we have to work to rebuild. For some, this time is more philosophical. Can I thrive? Am I safe? Do I have enough? Saturn will help to answer these questions.
