As the Moon arrives in Taurus, we’re gazing out into the world, towards lands far from our own. Since Taurus is an earth sign, a complement to Virgo Season, it’s also time to harvest and prepare for the future.
Fresh off a Pisces Full Moon, our emotions may feel a little tender, our hearts more open than usual. That said, it’s a week to seek and explore, to retrace our steps, to organize, and return to projects and old ambitions. Venus and Mars push us to be bold.
We start the week off with a Moon in Aries, one that wants action and movement, drive and power. We’re navigating deeper emotions, too, ones around intimacy and trust, especially after this weekend’s full moon.
Mercury turns retrograde tomorrow. Communication, information, and choices will need a second look. Despite its popular reputation, it doesn’t mean our lives have to grind to a halt. Instead we have to first feel instead of analyze, reflect instead of act.
The Moon’s in Aquarius and we get a push to get things organized, to focus on practical matters, and perfect the systems that our lives run on. Saturn may show us where something is out of order. Continue to make healthy choices that nourish the body.
The Moon rounds out its time in Capricorn. It’s a day to take the energy of Virgo and to set a higher bar. Put plans in order. Be the boss of the details. Hold yourself and others accountable. With Saturn in Aquarius, health and wellness need attention, too.
Venus arrives in Virgo, opening our hearts to service, acts of compassion, and practical duty. Mercury also turns retrograde in Libra, highlighting relationships, and an emotional Pisces Full Moon lights up the sky, inviting us to find forgiveness and surrender.
Venus steps out from behind the scenes and joins the Sun in Virgo. Although not traditionally at home in the sign, Venus has to use its natural charms and grace in support of others. Venus in Virgo brings a love of detail, order, and perfection.
Mercury in Libra comes up to an opposition to Jupiter in Aries. If Mercury gives us language, then Jupiter helps us to form knowledge and to assign meaning to language. It may be a day when we have to demonstrate what we know. Or make a leap of faith.
The Scorpio Moon gets us moving today. With Mars in Gemini, it’s all about the hustle. What do we need to do in order to reach our goals? What choices and strategies are going to get farther? Communication’s also in the spotlight. Conversations are powerful.
The Moon straddles Libra and Scorpio, two very different signs. If Libra is about surface niceties of relationship, then Scorpio pulls us into its deep emotional underpinnings. Scorpio is a sign that makes us face ourselves in order to grow.
