Welcome to 2024! Mercury turns direct with the new year, a pivot that joins the energy of Jupiter Direct a couple days before. We’re setting our sights on new horizons. We’re getting organized for the days ahead. We’re searching for renewed sense of purpose.
Venus arrives in Sagittarius, a sign that helps Venus cultivate a love of travel and exploration as well as freedom and justice. As a result, we may have our eyes on distant lands and exotic destinations. With Jupiter in Taurus, its pleasure and the good life, too.
Mars, on its way out of Sagittarius, makes a square to Neptune in Pisces. If Mars in Sagittarius has been faith in action, then Neptune asks us to search within for answers, to question what we believe in, or search for mystical knowledge and wisdom.
We’re coming off of a Cancer Full Moon, one the put home and family in the spotlight. We may be feeling nostalgic or going back to the past. Cancer can also evoke strong emotions, especially anything around the mother, care, and feeling safe and secure.
A Gemini Moon makes for a busy start to the week, one that not only speaks to business of the holiday season, but also a need to reflect on the things that are more important with Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius. We may feel as though we are in two worlds.

We’re in the last few days of Sagittarius Season as we start the week. Coupled with a Pisces Moon, we’re feeling into the season’s rich existential questions as well as Pisces’s moody feelings. It’s a day to search for meaning and purpose.
The Sun makes a square to Neptune, a point of friction in what we believe in and what we think is true. With Sagittarius Season’s search for truth and meaning, Neptune may have us questioning. Deep emotions from childhood may be coming up as well.
