Venus and Mars switch signs today and Taurus Season changes gears. While Venus returns home to Taurus, slowing us down and helping us to enjoy the pleasure of life, Mars’s arrival in Cancer means that we’re more emotional for the next six weeks.
Another earthy day between the Virgo Moon, the Taurus Sun, and Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Sometimes we have to destroy in order to build something stronger. It’s a day to be in your power, even if it means letting go of something you’ve been holding onto.
The Virgo Moon gets us started this week and, along with the Taurus Sun, it’s all about element earth. It’s a day to be practical, to build, organize, and pay attention to the details. A trine from Saturn gives us a boost, too, provided we step up to responsibility.
We’ve got a lovely Leo Moon to start the weekend, a Moon that likes to play, have fun, and create. We’re also coming up to the first quarter moon, which means that whatever story the May 4 new moon began is ready for its dramatic closeup.
Venus, rounding out its time in Aries, squares off with Pluto today. We’re looking at our relationships with a critical eye as well as how we interact with each other. Pluto speaks to power, control, manipulation in relationships. Seeing any red flags?
