The Moon trades Taurus for Gemini, the earth for the air. Things may be a little slow to start for most of the day, picking up later as the Moon finally crosses into Gemini. Then, we’re feeling more social, more focused on our goals and aims into tomorrow.
This week the story starts to change as Mars, the planet of action, drive, and forward movement, turns retrograde on September 9. As with all retrogrades, we can’t quite do things the way we would normally. We have to do our Mars differently.
We start the week off with a Taurus Moon, one that may make a slow start of things. We want to savor and enjoy life in Taurus, a sign that speaks to food, comfort, and our material lives. With Venus in Leo, we’re bringing in a dash of creativity and fun, too.
Aries Moon takes us into the weekend. We want to rush forward, take action, get things done. Between the recent full moon and the Aries Moon picking up on some tense astrology, we may be feeling strong emotions into Saturday. Gives this a positive outlet.
Coming off the Pisces Full Moon, emotions may still be running high. We were asked to find empathy and understanding, to feel ourselves in the experiences of others. Whatever suffering we’ve been holding onto can be let go, healed, and redeemed.
The Moon slips into Pisces and brings us closer to tomorrow’s full moon. We’re navigating the divide between heaven and earth, what we can feel concretely and what needs to be sensed or intuited. It’s watery, hazy, spiritual day that invites us to let go.
As we go into this week, we have a Pisces Full Moon on September 2, one that puts a spotlight on spirituality, inner wisdom, and compassion. It’s in Pisces that we connect to something larger than us and learn to stop resisting what we can no longer resist.
We start the week with an Aquarius Moon, one that points us towards the systems and networks that we’re a part of, whether it’s our social circle and community or the issues and causes that unite — or divide — us all. Aquarius is the sign of humanity.
We go into the weekend with a super serious Capricorn Moon. Picking up on the Virgo Sun, there’s a focus on work and duties as well as the things we need to do in order to build for our future. But with Mars still square Saturn, the pressure is on.
The Moon trades Sagittarius for Capricorn and it’s time to get back to reality. We need to focus on work and practical matters over the next couple of days. And with Mars and Saturn still lingering in a square, we may be facing hard facts or feelings.
We’re still taking it a little easy with today’s Sagittarius Moon, what with Venus and Jupiter still connecting. But it’s Virgo Season. We have things to do around the home, from projects to other duties and responsibilities. We’re daydreaming a little, too.
The Moon moves into Sagittarius and it’s a little more of a lazy day after yesterday’s intense square between Mars and Saturn. With Venus opposing Jupiter, we may be focused on the comforts and indulgences of home. But a Virgo Sun still needs to stay on task.
