Happy Taurus New Moon! This is the lunar month when we turn our attention to the ground beneath our feet. Taurus is the first earth sign and it teaches us all about the material world, from money and resources to food and anything we need physically to live.
Last day before the new moon and it’s a day to rest, reflect, and prepare for the coming lunar month. So we’re starting the weekend on a muted note, especially as the Aries Moon makes no aspects and Mars still squares Neptune. Perhaps we’ll nap instead.
The Aries Moon doesn’t quite have it’s usual kick as we slide into the dark of the moon. Plus, Mars is still squaring off with Neptune. We’re feeling introspective instead. Perhaps a little moody, too. Tie up loose ends today and get ready for the May 4 new moon.
Welcome to May! It’s Taurus Season and the world is in full bloom. (At least it is here in the northern hemisphere.) Taurus is about the sensuality and the pleasure of physical life, from good food to gathering what we need to create a comfortable existence.
Aries Moon gets things moving today, especially with Mars in on-the-go Gemini. It’s all about communication, information, and ideas. That said, we’re in the dark of the moon, the last days of the lunar month when it’s more about reflection than action.
Although Saturn has us reflecting on serious matters today, the Pisces Moon may have us dreaming about what we need to do versus taking concrete steps forward. Rest up because come tomorrow the Aries Moon will have us on the move.
Saturn’s calling the shots this week. The planet of responsibility and maturity turns retrograde at 20 Capricorn. Retrogrades don’t mean we’re turning our back on responsibility. Instead, we need to seriously reflect on our choices and reevaluate next steps.
We start the weekend with an Aquarius Moon, one that points to the bonds that connect us to the level of community and society. An idealistic sign, use Aquarius’s energy to get involved in causes or other activities that create a common goal or shared view.
The Capricorn Moon meets up with Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node of the Moon. There’s a seriousness in the air and we’re feeling the weight of time and responsibility. Capricorn is a sign that holds us to a higher standard.
Today’s Capricorn Moon gets us back to reality. Along with the Taurus Sun, it’s a day to work, focus on goals, and get organized, especially if we’ve been neglecting something. Pluto turns retrograde, too. Are we struggling with themes of power and control?
Venus in Aries meets up with Chiron in Aries. Coming on the heels of a powerful conjunction of the Sun and Uranus in Taurus plus last week’s Libra Full Moon, relationships are still in the spotlight. We may be feeling old relationship wounds.
We have a dynamic start to the week as the Sun meets up with Uranus in Taurus, kicking off our Uranus in Taurus story. There’s a particular part of our life that needs a reinvention and, to do so, we’ll have to leave our comfort zone.
