The Moon is in Taurus today, reminding us all of the need for solid ground and stability after a rocky past few days of eclipse shake ups. Taurus is an earth sign. It’s primal urge is to seek shelter, comfort, and the resources needed to feel secure in this world. As a result we may be taking it easy, enjoying the pleasure of a good meal as an antidote to Aries, or spending time in nature smelling the flowers.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Mars has been building up to an opposition to Neptune and will be exact on October 6. If Mars is action and aggression, its relationship odds with Neptune is like realizing that there are forces calling on us to sacrifice, forgive, and have compassion. But it’s also may feel like the Universe is against us like the rising waters of a flood.
Further, Mars has been plugging into this whole Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter t-square we’ve been having. It’s not about us right now. It’s about being called to be in service of something greater, whether humanity. At the end of the day, a big theme this October is about surrender. True, it’s a bit exhausting. All this Virgo service work has been a bit much. Maybe we can sneak in some Taurus lounging and snacking in the meantime.
