It’s a day to tidy up and tie up loose ends as the Moon rounds its way through Virgo. Although we’ve left Virgo Season behind, we’re in the last day of lunar month, one that began with a Virgo New Moon. It’s also a day to focus on work and other initiatives.
As I mentioned yesterday, we’re in the dark of the moon. Tomorrow, a Libra New Moon ushers in a new lunar month, one devoted to relationship and connection. In the mean time, rest, meditate, reflect. Look back on September and remind yourself of what you learned, the projects you started, or any big realizations.
It’s important to also mention that Saturn is on the Capricorn South Node right now, a place it’s been all week. If life seems a bit more serious than usual, then look no further than Saturn and the South Node, a combination that makes us aware of the past, our choices, and the consequences of our choices. (I went into depth on Saturn in a recent popular webinar, Facing Saturn.)
Pay attention to what you’re going through right now. The Sun is still opposite Chiron in Aries. There’s deep subtext to what’s unfolding. For example, if you’re having an argument or disagreement with someone, how is it a replay of a very old story? What are the roots of this story? This life? Another life? Both?
Over the coming four weeks, with the energies of the Libra New Moon, we’re going to be working on our relationships (Venus square Saturn), healing old stories (Sun opposite Chiron), and possibly taking a sometimes uncomfortable look at ourselves and how we interact with others (Venus square Pluto).
