Today Venus will say goodbye to Leo and hello Virgo, the sign of purity, service, and organization. If we’re playing by the old astrology rules, Virgo isn’t exactly the best placement for Venus. The ancients would say she’s in her “fall” (because she’s in the opposing sign she’s exalted in, Pisces).
But there’s a lot going for Venus in Virgo — an attention to detail, craft, beauty through perfection —even if it’s a sign where she doesn’t get to fully let her hair down. Instead she quietly shows her love through acts of charity, kindness, and the little things. Come tomorrow, she’ll finally pass the degree that she turned retrograde at way back on July 25.
We also need to keep in mind that Venus’s shift also shifts our experience of the Sun in Libra. Our exploration of Libra themes — relationships, collaboration, union — for the next couple of weeks just got more focused, diligent, patient.
