Let’s turn the spotlight on Aquarius now that Mars has set up shop in the sign for the next five weeks. As the ruler of Scorpio, Mars is pointing us toward themes of humanity, the collective, community, and social networks.

Aquarius is the last air sign, preceded by Gemini and Libra. When we reach Aquarius, we’ve taken all the ideas and information of Gemini, exchanged it with other people through Libra, and fixed our ideas into intellect.

Aquarius is also a very abstract sign and the knowledge and intellect the sign is known for creates these geometric figures of consciousness — geometric figures that exist in the quantum fabric that connects all of us, geometric figures that are like a library. This is why I think Aquarius is known as a very intelligent sign, one that’s able to see things on such a big level because it has access to all this information naturally.

On a more mundane level, however, Aquarius is friendships, camaraderie, freedom, equality. It helps us understand that we’re connected to something greater. We’re no longer individuals, we’re humanity.
