Welcome to Gemini Season! As of yesterday, the Sun is now in the sign of travel, education, communication, and ideas. If you know a Gemini, they tend to be chatty and curious. As a result, this is the season to try new things and make new choices.
We begin Gemini Season with Mercury, the ruling planet of Gemini, over in Taurus, which sort of slows down Gemini’s natural pace. We may be inspired to take in new experiences right now, but Taurus is encouraging us to savor, accumulate, and reflect on the value of what we are bringing into our lives.
Mercury is also opposing Jupiter this week, and this is a classic “our eyes are bigger than our stomach” alignment. Meaning that Gemini wants to do a million things and Jupiter’s like, yeah, let’s do it ALL. But the reality is that we can’t do everything. We have to pick and choose and choose well.
Nevertheless, this is a week where travel, education, and friendships are particularly highlighted. We may be enthusiastically on the go or restlessly wanting a change of scenery. (The Sun and Mars in Aquarius harmonize this week, so we definitely have the energy to be on the move.)
