Oh, hey, it’s totally March. While we patiently wait for my monthly horoscopes to drop, let’s peer ahead and see what’s in store. In short — two eclipses, Mars in Sagittarius, and Saturn turns retrograde.
Any time you have a month with eclipses in it you know that things will be a little hairy. While eclipses are nothing to fear — they happen every six months — they have a tendency to rapidly open up new chapters and close others. Solar eclipses are new beginnings; lunar eclipses are more urgent, demanding a decision, resolution, or even invoking a crisis.
The March 8 solar eclipse will fall in Pisces, opening up a new chapter through the prism of spirituality, redemption, and forgiveness as well as illusion, addiction, and the lost. The lunar eclipse on March 23 will demand a resolution through the sign of Libra — relationship, cooperation, partnership, and peace.
Mars will change signs on March 5, spending the next 10 weeks in Sagittarius. That’s a lot of action happening in the sign of faith, travel, meaning, and wisdom. On top of that, Saturn will turn retrograde on March 25. We’re in for a crusade — or a tough look at our karma around beliefs and ideology.
So the comic gears are shifting. And we can’t forget that it’s Pisces season, a time when we examine deeper existential questions, search for compassion, and try to let go.
