It may be Cancer Season, but we’re exploring the sign of Capricorn as well. As the complement to Cancer, Capricorn pushes us out of the nest and into the world. And with tomorrow’s Capricorn Full Moon, we’re getting a big push to take the next step in our lives.
If you remember, Saturn has been in Capricorn since December, kicking off a three year era where we all have to hold ourselves more accountable. Saturn is the planet of responsibility and maturity, the planet of what I call “Big Life.” You know … births, graduations, promotions, moves, marriages. Saturn not only marks time, but marks the narrative of our lives with milestones and the inevitable outcomes of our choices. Saturn also makes us struggle — the struggle that pushes us to work harder, climb farther, and build something solid for ourselves.
We’re really feeling the Saturn burn today and tomorrow. We’re hustling and taking a serious look at our lives as we come up to a face off between the Sun and Saturn as well as the Capricorn Full Moon. Since December we’ve had our work cut out for us. There’s an area of our lives that needs extra attention. (If you’re not sure where, check out my Saturn in Capricorn sign-by-sign guide below.) We may also have a big decision, one that ties into a story that began at the start of the year. More on this in tomorrow’s write up on the full moon.
The Capricorn Moon is also a reminder that we’re a mere two weeks away from a solar eclipse, which means that eclipse season is here. For those who are not familiar with eclipses, they happen every six months and tend to usher out or usher in new chapters of our lives. Like Saturn, they mark “Big Life.” The solar eclipse on July 12 will fall in the sign of Cancer and mark a powerful new chapter that will center on home, family, roots, and the very fundamentals of our lives. If you are a Cancer or a Capricorn, this is a turning point year for you. Even Leo and Aquarius will be feeling this eclipse energy with the lunar eclipse on July 27 and another solar eclipse on August 11.
