The Moon rounds out its time in Cancer and we’re in the dark of the moon. It’s a time to reflect and get quiet. Since we’re wrapping up a lunar month with two eclipses, take a moment to reflect on the doors that have closed … and opened in July.
Yes, we’re officially closing out eclipse season with the end of this lunar month, a time that arrives every six months to push along the narrative of our lives. For some of us, July was a pivotal month. For others, we turned a corner in more subtle ways. Note that we’ll be checking back in on these eclipses at different points in the next couple of months, especially in late September and into October.
That said, we’re kicking off August with a Leo New Moon and its passionate, lively, and creative energies. Leo is a fire sign, so expect a lot more movement and motivation in August as a result. (I went into this new moon a little bit in my weekly Facebook Live video, which I reposted on my Empowering Astrology YouTube channel if you missed it.)
Mercury also turns direct tomorrow, just after the new moon. Things may be a little wonky in the meantime, especially as Mercury pivots opposite Pluto in Capricorn. Just make sure you’re double checking things and making sure your signals are not getting crossed.
Also, I was a guest recently on Megyn Blanchard’s Wholehuman Radio podcast. In Episode 14, we talk about how to use the birth chart for our greatest growth. You can listen to the podcast episode on iTunes and Spotify. You can also follow @Wholehumanradio on Instagram for other interviews and insights.
