The Moon slips into Sagittarius and we’re feeling element Fire. Between the Sun in Leo and Mars in Aries, we’re all ideas and inspiration, opinions and beliefs. This energy can motivate and create, but it can also ignite and inflame tensions.

It’s also a day that touches on themes of truth, belief, and meaning. After all, Sagittarius is a sign that wants us to find answers — answers to life, answers to the universe. It wants us to educate ourselves, to seek out wisdom and knowledge. It’s also a sign of travel, especially foreign or long distance journeys.

While we can’t do much traveling right now, we’ll have to seek and explore in other ways. And, as a result, we need to get new perspectives as well as new horizons. The trap of Sagittarius — every sign has a trap — is that we think that our truth is The Truth and we get stuck in pointless battles trying to be right or proving our point. Let’s not forget that the South Node of the Moon is in Sagittarius … and that maybe we’re wrong.

If something problematic around truth and meaning comes up, it’s important for us to work to transform how we see things. Jupiter is still conjunct Pluto in Capricorn and we’re all collectively looking at the shadow of belief, truth, and the power structures behind it.
