Venus in Virgo faces off with Neptune. Is it real or a beautiful illusion? Neptune can enchant us and Venus is certainly alluring, but we’re feeling a pull between what needs to get done versus a dream or a vision. Or, alternatively, we’re feeling a higher calling.
Let’s keep in mind that we’re in the middle of a series of eclipses and we’re in the threshold of something new. For some of us, this is the threshold of a new life. The lunar eclipse on July 27 will be a turning point, a push in a new direction. And it’s possible that many of us are feeling or experiencing this already, especially if we’re a Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio.
Today’s opposition between Venus and Neptune touches on Uranus in Taurus, something that I mentioned in yesterday’s update. In short, Uranus’s arrival in Taurus on May 15 kicked off a new chapter of reinventing our relationship with money, material stability, and resource. (If you are a Taurus, you’ll be reinventing yourself over the coming eight years.) For all of us, between the July 27 eclipse and Uranus’s retrograde turn on August 7, we’ll be getting a clearer idea of what’s changing over the next couple of weeks. (Want insight as to what may be changing for you? Check out my Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign guide below.)
Change isn’t a bad thing. Life is going to take us in new directions; it’s an inevitability. And what Uranus reminds us is that we have to be true to ourselves, we can’t try to life any other life than the one that is meant for us. I think the face off between Venus and Neptune today is a reminder of that fundamental truth. Life is too short for you to not go after your dreams.
