Last day of Cancer Season. We wrap up a four week look at the role that home, family, and connection in our lives. It’s been a sensitive time, one that began with a powerful solar eclipse on June 21. What’s shifted? Do we feel closer or farther from home?
The last day of any sign has a sense of urgency to it. We have to wrap things up and prepare. That takes focus and, ideally, some self awareness. Tomorrow, the Sun arrives in Leo and we kick off a new season, one dedicated to creativity, passion, and self expression.
Mercury also makes its final square to Chiron in Aries today. Conversations may strike a nerve or serve to heal or release something very deep. If you remember, Mercury has been in Cancer for quite some time, what with its retrograde in June and July. It made a square to Chiron on June 5 and July 1. Perhaps you are seeing a thread that connects this time to those two dates. How will you do things differently?
And let’s not forget that we’re still in the energies of yesterday’s Cancer New Moon. I explained what this new moon meant and how it affected your sign in my weekly astrology video for July 20-26, 2020. You can watch the replay here.
