Welcome to July! The new month starts off with a bang as Mars moves into fiery, passionate Leo, motivating us all to find our self confidence for the next six weeks. We’re also on the edge of a solar eclipse in Cancer. Big changes afoot!
Let’s start with Mars. It hasn’t been in the sign of identity and creativity since July and August 2017. (It may be worth while to think back to what was going on at that time.) So it’s a time for us to naturally be motivated to express ourselves, to contemplate or even cultivate a sense of persona or identity.
Then there’s tomorrow’s solar eclipse. It’s also if life is a bit pregnant at the moment and we’re about to give birth. Eclipses teach us that there are some things that are out of our hands. Call it fate, call it destiny. This eclipse is ushering in a new time, one focused on getting more emotional connection, creating a home for ourselves, or working on issues around family, ancestry, or the past. As I mentioned in my weekly newsletter, it’s a solar eclipse for us to be very aware of the mother energy in our lives and take steps to heal that energy if there is conflict.
