Let’s talk Pisces.
Not only are we in the last leg of the astrological year, but we’re in a bigger period when themes of compassion, spirituality, healing, and release are highlighted more than usual. Mind you, this is the highest expression of Pisces, the sign that reveals the veil between this world and the next and pulls it back. Swimming in its eternal ocean, we feel our connection with everyone and everything. Pisces is universality. Oneness. A return to the cosmic womb to be born again.
But things aren’t that easy. The South Node is in Pisces now and we’re all having to take a collective look at our karma around Pisces. What’s preventing us from experiencing universality? What’s holding us in separation? Where are we fighting our inevitable rebirth?
Deep in Pisces’s shadow is loss, grief, prisons, illusion, and addiction. Instead of the healing waters of redemption and regeneration, the well runs endless with anguish.
We’re coming up on a solar eclipse at 18 Pisces on March 8 right on the South Node and Chiron as well. The solar eclipse will square Saturn and oppose Jupiter, a line up that has the makings of a major turning point for many of us. (If you were born in the mid-1960s, this will be doubly so.)
Over the next six months we’ll have to really take inventory of some of the themes outlined above as well as faith, meaning, and transcendence. The upside is that Jupiter is in Virgo right now. To escape the rip tide of Pisces, we have to make sure we tap into Virgo’s talent for details, order, practicality, and discernment.
